Cairns Port Authority (CPA) is a statutory
Queensland Government Owned Corporation. Our portfolio includes
the management and operation of:
• Port of Cairns, a multipurpose
regional seaport that caters to a diverse range of industries
• Cairns international Airport, the sixth busiest airport
in the country
• Over 1,100 hectares of strategic port land and property
• Cityport – an urban waterfront development project
adjacent to eh Central Business District.
CPA is actively involved in the cooperative
marketing and promotion of Cairns and Tropical North Queensland
as a tourist destination and facilitation of trade opportunities.

Ecofish
is a non-profit organisation representing the seafood and marine
industry in Far North Queensland. The group or industry cluster
was established as a company in July 1999 to ensure the industry’s
long term survival and ecological sustainability whilst maximising
the economic benefits to the region. The members are a mix of fishers,
fish processors, wholesalers and retailers, chandleries, slipways,
engineers, paint and fuel distributors, and other support services
such as legal and financial as well as government and community
organisations.
Ecofish
is the future of fishing and is committed to the following objectives:

TNQT offers accredited marine training programs
including STCW 95 internationally endorsed courses.
TNQT recently signed a landmark agreement with American maritime
training provider International Yachtmaster Training (IYT) to deliver
internationally accredited Superyacht qualifications.
The IYT Yachtmaster Offshore certificate is recognised by 22 governments
worldwide and by peak maritime bodies including the British Maritime
and Coastguard Agency (MCA) and the United States Coastguard.

Partnerships Group Inc.
The
Vocational Partnerships Group ( incorporating Reef 2005 ) has been
providing vocational work placement, updated job information, career
planning services and training advice on maritime and associated
industries to Cairns and the Peninsula region for the last seven
years.
The VPG works with a variety of programs that focus on transition
into work. Our clientele covers the broad range of young people
from 14 years through to mature age job seekers, and includes tertiary
and overseas students.
